I remember the day when I got engaged to Abbas, Bhai Afzal was so happy I'll always remember that glowing look on his face. The place was Chacha ji Ahsan's house at 5 Zaman Park, Lahore..Since then he was always v. kind to me as I used to come from Karachi and then Abu Dhabi and stayed with him and Baji Raufa .Through out all these years he was v.hospitable and loving and he and Baji never made me miss the presence of my parents in law.He was an elder brother, brother in law,father like figure who was Baray Abu for my children, and a friend with whom I would engage in long discussions on current affairs and politics.I remember the time he along with Baji visited us at Abu Dhabi.He liked the place a lot and was particularly fond of all our friends who invited them to their places for dinners and parties.This association continued as he always welcomed our friends and my side of family to his house with open arms.
